As Rees N.D.T. has been operating for over 40 years, it’s nearly impossible to specifically list everything that we do.

For your convenience, we have compiled a general list of a number of our services, and we have provided links below to some of our most common services!

General List Of Services

• Inspection and engineer certification on cranes, pickers, spreader bar, fall arrest systems, man lifts, all types (if you lift or pull with it, we can repair, inspect and certify).
• BC mechanical inspections for BC picker, crane certifications.
• Commercial vehicle inspections on light trucks, trucks and trailers, AMVIC compliant. Overhead cranes inspection, servicing, repairs, ALI compliant.
• Vehicle hoists inspections, servicing and repairs.
• Structural design and repairs of all lift equipment.
• Written weld procedures and guidance on structural welding.
• Energy Safety Canada (formerly Enform) compliant, all RPS. Structural, load testing of lift equipment up to 525 ton.
• Crane and picker stability testing.
• Structural damage assessments with written, engineer repair procedures, with written weld procedures as required.
• Rebuilds, pressure testing and certification of equipment, such as lube lines, spools, valves, bops, etc.
• Load testing of lift equipment, such as sheaves, spreader bars, elevators, bails, any overhead lift equipment that requires a documented load test (we can load test up to 525 ton with our load test bed as well as our 100-ton test system, and we also have portable unit that can pull up to 40 ton for chains and slings).
• On site inspection, repairs, load testing of, plant, shop, site, cranes.
• Side boom certifications.
• PMI (Positive Material Identification) test, metal identification (including carbon).
• Electrical, mechanical testing and repair of overhead cranes, hoists.
• Corrosion surveys on items such as vessels, piping, fittings, etc.
• Machining, Journeyman millwright machinist, lathe, milling machine.
  Electrical inspections and repairs on overhead cranes and vehicle lifts.
• Mechanical repairs and servicing to meet annual inspections on overhead cranes and vehicle lifts.
• Oilfield equipment certifications, repairs, pressure testing, load testing.
• Tear down, rebuild blocks, sheaves, engineer certifications.
• Tear down and rebuild swivels, valves.
• Permit to Practice, Engineer certifications for AB, BC, SK, MB, NWT, NU. Following all applicable codes under the supervision of an inhouse P Eng. registered with provinces stamped. NACE compliance certification for, spools, piping, etc.
• API compliance certification, spools, piping, etc.
• Spool ring groove measuring equipment.
